I mentioned one day at work that I should photoshop this little guy with a lightsaber. So I’ll make today’s a silly post.
The lightsaber was done with a little outer glow added to a rasterized line, and the squirrel’s evil glare is courtesy of the liquify tool. Original is below for comparison.
Dream on
Another shot from last weeks hike. This time I had a little fun with Photoshop.
First, this is was made up of a combination of four separate shots stitched together with photomerge. After some exposeure adjustments and messing with curves, I got fancy with the diffusion and added some glow to the highlights. I may have gotten a little carried away, but the closer to 11 it got tonight, the more my eyes started to cross.

Ask and ye shall receive
Austin suggested that yesterday’s photo would be a good candidate for some tilt-shift photoshopping (making it appear miniature, for those not familiar with the term). So, I gave it a try. It was my first attempt, please be gentle.
Also, maybe I’ll start taking suggestions for other things, photos, edits, you name it and I’ll post it.
