Not long after the Rose Kennedy Greenway opened along Boston’s harborfront did a group of artists light up the skyline as never before seen. In addition to illuminating various buildings such as the Custom House clock tower (which will be tomorrow’s post, so stay tuned), several themed sculpture installations were also seen throughout the Greenway.
Just above the bench here, emitting steam, is one of them, as seen in front of the Boston Harbor Hotel (a great place to stay by the way, fabulous room service), with a series of spotlights as a backdrop.

This is my favorite shot so far. Probably because it’s my favorite building in the city.

Mine too. I remember it being one of the first things you saw driving into the city as a kid, before the big dig. You’d sail right by the giant archway on the elevated highway. Good memories.
